SUDAN: Recordal of Trademarks Now Possible at Customs
The recordal of trademarks by rights owners is now possible at the SudaneseCustoms, in accordance with Articles 14 and 22 of the newly released borderregulations. After completing the recordal, the trademark will be placed on watch, andproducts bearing this trademark or a similar mark will be monitored and inspected ex-officio. Iraq - Trademark Office Reviews its Files
The Iraqi Trademark Office has officially announced on the 7th of June 2010 that it will start reviewing the files of trademark registrations 1 to 16090 in order to make sure that its records are in order.
