In its complaint, Mosaid alleged that Freescale, Nvidia, and Interphase have infringed, and continue to infringe certain patents related primarily to power management techniques, and microprocessor architecture. The accused devices include graphics processors, application processors, microcontrollers, and system-on-chip devices. These micro-component products are used in mobile, automotive, consumer and communications applications. Complaint sought judgment of infringement, money damages, attorneys’ fees and other relief, the Court may deem just and proper.
In 2012, Mosaid filed a motion to consolidate cases (Mosaid case and the ARM Case) which was approved by the Court.  On Feb 28, 2013, Freescale and Interphase Corporation were dismissed from the case with prejudice as the parties filed a joint motion.  Later, Court rendered judgment as a result of plaintiffs and defendants filing a joint motion ordering dismissal of NVIDIA and ARM with and without prejudice, respectively.
