Nissim Corp. sues Samsung Electronics on technology behind skipping video on DVDs and Blue-rays

Nissim a Florida Corporation has filed a PATENT SUIT against Samsung Electronics for possible infringement of its Patent Nos: 5434678, 5589945, 5913013, 6151444, 6208805, 6463207 - covering technology that allows users to skip over sex and violence on DVDs and Blu-ray discs.

The Plaintiff Nissim Corp has already filed a similar case against Clear play, Inc. on 11th May 2010 regarding video content filtering and Time Warner on 18th July 2011.

Nissim Corp. is asking the court for a permanent injunction against the companies, cash damages, and enhanced damages for knowingly infringing on the patent.
